Ok,
This is another sub $0.25 buyin SNG.
I am providing a picture of the final result.
It's the first round of blinds and I am in middle position. Since the SB and BB didn't make it past the flop I will mention only that the SB had almost 4k of chips and the BB had 1265 chips.
So, it is hand 7 and I look down at QQ with 985 chips, as I said earlier, in middle position.
I decide to deviate from my standard 3x the BB raise seeing as this SNG is playing extremely loose.
The SB on this hand had gone all in with KK one the first hand and was called by J10 off Q4 suited to give you and idea of how lose people were playing. He won.
Anyway, I decide because of the looseness I will raise 100 chips which is 10x the BB. Darned if I didn't get 3 callers. Obviously not enough to push out the bad hands that could draw out on me. The three callers were the the Button (1890 chips), the SB, and the BB.
Flop comes 3c7c2s which in my book is far too dangerous a hand against 3 callers. Anyone of them could be holding 2 pair, a5, a4, or any 2 clubs.
I lead out for a pot sized bet. I figure if the go all in on a draw there is not much I can do but call with the best hand since half my stack is now commited to the pot. If I smell a whiff strength I will have to think long and hard on what to do at the point even thouogh half my stalk is already in the pot.
The button calls and this is where it gets tricky.
The turn is not only the 3rd club but an overcard to my pair. I am getting ready to puke.
Below is the picture showing how I played it.
How poorly or well do you think I handled this situation? How would you have played it?
BTW, I ended up later being heads up against the guy who went all with KK on the first hand.
I won't get into any detail about what happened or this will turn into a blog. LOL.
I ended up taking first when I had a 7+ to 2 chip lead and he went all in with K2 suited vs my AQ suited.
