Been Playing PLO and PLO8 $1.10 and $2.20

Seems the donkey calling station playing 73/15 is the chip leader way too often in these micro MTTs I have been playing in. I have an ace high straight they have the 2-6. I have three of a kind they have a bigger three of a kind. I have a flush they have a boat or quads.

Should I be widening my range a lot to keep up or will I eventually TID by playing 20/12 TAG?

I find PLO at those limits really tough to play for the exact reasons you mentioned in your post. Do I think a TAG player can win these, yes I do. Play good hands and only chase the nuts...not 2nd best. You should also consider slowing down your betting with 2nd best flushes, straights, etc. Don't bet out, check so you can somewhat control the pot amount. Having said that, I've also found that once you get rid of the initial riffraff, the players get better. This is the point where you aggression should increase with what you chase and how you're betting. Of course having said that, you need to see who's at your table. If its all calling stations, then continue your TAG game until you see a worthy opponent.

For what its worth, if you're going to continue playing micro PLO or PLO8, you're going to learn tilt control and patience. If you don't, there's a pretty good chance you're going to go broke...take it from somebody who's done that himself

Thanks for the advice and I will head those warnings as well.

I also noticed you're playing at PS...are you doing those 1.40 bounty NL Omaha SNG's? If so...my advice isn't really going to be helpful with those. I'd suggest sticking with the PLO/PLO8 $1.20 so you can have better pot control.

Have actually been playing the MTT scheduled games. The PLO starts at 9:30 EST and the PLO8 starts at 8:30

I also play the SnGs too and often the Double or Nothings but my original post was talking about the MTT scheduled games.
