I play plenty of micro/low tournies like the Hot 55-1.10, Bounty builder, 50-2.20 and progressive KO's 50-1.10 and alot of others on PS, 888, ACR, etc, with buy ins mainly between 1-3$. I will play about 5 a Day and at the weekends i'll play as many as 15-20 as i'll play from 6pm till sometimes 9am the next Day. I seem to make it ITM alot more than not but a lot of it is mainly min-mid cash mostly. i do go quite deep in many games but not as deep as i woulkd like to and have had some bigger cashes but seem to fall short of making the deeper cash payouts more due to both badbeats and bad plays when picking the wrong spot to make a move. I was just wondering what advice any you guys would recommend when playing with a decent stack after the bubble has popped. Do you get more aggressive or do you tighten up and choose your spots wisely? I would ask if you would tighten up and have 1 eye on the payjumps but at micro stakes i don't think many ppl worry about this quite as much until get nearer the deeper payouts. :)

first , the real money go to top 3 in my opinion so even making to the final table isnt rly enough
with a tournament starting like 500+ players i guess u hit the bubble at 4 hours and reach final table 2-3 hours later u have to keep that in mind so once u r in the money u dont feel u have to double up fast or something , no just be patient and play monster hands push the short stacks as always and steal from the button and cut off with decent hands

I think we all know the optimal spots are ones where you have players jamming a head of you and you wake up with a monster. The problem is, you may never be presented with these spots, so you have to look for ways to gain chips via any means possible. This means playing solid post flop poker and also looking for preflop steal spots. Some times all in steals work best with marginal hands behind unable to do anything but just call the all-in. A lot of times 2.5x 3 bet will often work in the right situations especially against a good aggressive payer. Picking up chips with out showdowns is essential, especially for buffering some of your bad beat hands.

This is what happened to me when i first started playing online poker. Dont even think about the cash or final table until theres around 30 people left. I try to avoid huge flips pre. Why flip a coon when u can out play them post flop

Yes i agree, i've had some 1st and 2nd place finishes in the hot1.10, etc, for like $250, $180, and also made FT's to only get back like $10 for sin like 9th spot so yes you're right to say the larger cash is mainly top3-5. I know it's not easy with the micros and sometimes you need a bit of luck also when players are pushing allin with any 2 after bubble pops and just hoping to get a quick double up with hands like A2, etc, and whilst i'm sitting with a monster like KK/QQ i have to accept the swings when they hit 1 of their 3 outers as i beat them more in the long term so i can't really complain. I'm not really a huge MTT player, i always played cash games but i just like jumping into many of these micro games whilst playing and try and get some larger cashes and i agree that top 3-5 spots is where the decent cash is at. I like to try and pick spots carefully but that can be hard to do at micros as players don't seem to care after they make a min cash and also because the money isn't that great so players will play also hoping to get a dbl up and make it to the deeper payouts. I used to play the $11 tournies or $5.50 buyins but i like to play alot of these micros rather than play only 2-3 games with larger buyins but i may consider this again.

Yes i like to throw in some3/4bet bluffs and continue post flop play with a sizeable bet and hope to rep playing/protecting a huge hand, etc, just to pick up some chips and the blinds at later levels can be huge also when not getting any hands, thanks for the replies, i appreciate it guys. :)

decent stack after the bubble, I recommend you play tight, and choose top hands to shove or even if your short stack even sometimes with 72 not only top hands why because you get to steal little more and built the stack if your short then stop maybe 2 blinds go by and do it again or if you get top hands keep it up then just fold fold fold and now bluff bluff few hands after these process you will be chip leader then you stop shoving no more not even with AA or AK or KK nooooo u will get a call that can bring you down or risk many chips... have any other questions PM
DO NOT GAMBLE... steal, and bluff = W1n tourney
