When is it best to analyze the lost tournament? Immediately after the tournament or one day after?

After the session I'll say.
It's fresh and you can analyze what went wrong and how I could I play it differently for better results.

A general practice I learned and do is to analyze a few of the biggest winning and losing hands right after the game and just see if you played them right and what lines might have been more +EV than what you did. Then like a week or two later you should go back through and analyze more hands (still mainly the bigger winning or losing hands) and walk through them step by step to focus on what move would I make here and compare it to what you did, v's range after each move and some more of the more complicated analysis you need to work on away from the table but when you don't really remember what you did here so you can see those moments when you are like "wtf was I thinking here" and really pinpoint any leaks you weren't really aware of. Hope that helps!

On fresh tracks, right after the tournament and it's worth watching the history of hands

not only must you analyze the tournament when it finishes, but also analyze your moves and your own and your rivals' moves

I do it right after the end of my tournament, so to speak, while the memory is fresh, I make a note on the player and in general for the game that needs to be changed in my game, to disassemble the situation that was not properly created. Then there are 1000 reasons why not to do it .. .. Even stupidly lazy))) and this card does not like

Immediately after the tournament, we usually analyze only the last hand with which we left the tournament) so emotions can prevent us from correctly drawing conclusions. Therefore, it is better to analyze the whole tournament and analyze the history of the hands the next day

I do not use programs to play poker, i always remember a hand in specific , and i think i didi badly, that i could have done differently. If someone does not use the program, they can copy their hand and upload it to the forum for analysis.
