Actually you can't figure that out, but you can guess and adjust your play exactly like he had it. So if you fold solid hand, and he mucks, you can raise your mental energy ( for "good" fold ) and continue to play better later.

Of course you mustn't be paranoid, like all opponents has it and you are never good, it is a two-edged sword, could help you some times, but it can make you weak player, easy folder.

Good players do not show you combination power. Especial if them are in position. You will bet and they will call. It called SLOW PLAY.
Late stage is perfect situation to play slow play with TPTK or three of a kind.

Recently I lost huge stack in MTT in the middle stage with pocket AK when get Ace on the flop. My opponent get Aces three of a kind, and continue called and I really believe he had pocket AQ cause I know and had information for this player.

There is no particular way to identify someone hitting a set. usually continuation bets cause your opponents to fold. but in case the opponent does not fold, check the texture of the board and see if there are any draws which your opponent might be waiting else there is a possibility of a set. If the turn or river does not improve your hand further, keep the pot small, checking behind is not a bad thing.

I think checking behind in the river is bad thing. More often opponents folded than called. And often people will called only with second pair, or TP with small kicker.

Check/raise either on the flop or later street usually a sign of monster hand such as three of a kind but some good players also would take the opportunity to bluff..

You might get check raised but it's really hard recognize pocket pair or set. When you get to final table or in top20, top30 there are a lot of great players. Many of them will slow play their set. They are not gonna shove on flop or something. Everything depends on you to determine how is your opponent playing and to figure out what he might have.

slowplaying a set is a bad play more often than not imo, of course it depends on your opponent and board structure, but you're missing out on a lot of value often + sets aren't invulnerable.

When the flop is low and he c bets, just raise. Not double but a nice x3 and there should be a shove. Most players make that mistake

How to recognize poket pair of opponent in late stage. Or how to recognize opponent hit three of a kind.

You limp in order to maximize your winnings while minimizing the risks. But in any case, it remains the main condition under which the game should not be more than two opponents. Of course, the weaker your hand, the greater the risk of losing it. But in the future, when your pocket ladies a chance to see on the table ace or a king is equivalent to 40% of cases.
Most players do not use such chances in the hope that your opponent has a good hand, but will be followed by a fold and they will take away the sweat on their re-raise.if your stack < 12 BB in late stage-- all-in

Play your own hand

Overthinking usually causes bad mistakes .. you can't marry a particular strategy when you begin a tournament ..you have to be flexible. Play the hand you have, not the hand you think your opponent has.

Look at his cards?

Pocket pairs are immensely deceptive.

Beware the 2nd call.

No real way to determine. As the tourney or game progresses you just need to be able to read each player and what they raise with pre, slow play you on, etc. I am more conservative at the beginning of a game because I want to be able to read the players quickly.

How to identify Pocket pair

It is really important to try putting a player on a range of hands early. For example... If I raise here typically if he calls he will have this range of hands... then as the hand progresses continue to narrow that range. If he had pocket 10's+ he would typically raise here, or he usually folds here unless he has a good/great hand. Then adapt your play to that range.

Poker is a game of incomplete information. All you can do is try to fill in those missing pieces the best you can.

This. I agree with everything you said plus i do the exact same thing during the early stages of a tourney.

A pocket pair is when both of your cards (your holecards.. the ones dealt to you in the game of Texas Holdem... we are talking about Holdem.. right?) are the SAME!

here's an example
(this time it is a pocket pair of Nine)

Well.. here goes again. When you get this, you KNOW you've got a pocket pair!
