Based on what your saying, coolers and falling short, Its quite commen if your talking 180 players or more.
I struggle from bad beats in my turbo games
firstly turbo variance is sick in a tournament your better off playing 10 min blinds, you will often need to take a few gambles to come up with the goods (win a few close calls maybe even suck out on a big hand)
if your good enough you may be able to win by getting payed off by bead players and stealing orphaned pots late in the game
if your table is weak and your being allowed to take down blinds and see flops,
just keep taking stabs at the pot when first in (OOP) and when they check you raise (be careful not to become to predictable or do it too often) incase players are brave enough to exploit you or looking to push at any given time.
but yea dont be affraid to jam your chips in with suited connecters and broadways in position any ace, (always jam your chips in late stage if you have instincts or a gut feeling)
Just remember you can afford to push on smaller stacks near FT because alot of the time theyl be folding so it will be close to a break even situation when u account for being called.
if they do call - you have 90k and lose 38k , your left with 42, (potentially 15-20 blinds) , just relax wait for a good hand (chances are you will get one and you push it) if called, your 50 - 50 to double up, every time they dont call your gaining 2.5k - 5k
