To fold or not to fold? My situation: Turbo MTT (6 minutes levels) with nice prizes. It was yesterday. I had about 4 BBs on the bubble. My position is BB. I got KQs. Under The Gun there is very agressive opponent with 13 BBs (average stack). He did minimal raise. Other players folds. I shoved. He had A9o and he won with high card Ace. Was it my mistake and I should to fold or it just  bad luck?

This is always very hard decision. You should look how many players is shorter than You. Push is ok in my opinion, but sometimes in that kind of specific situation, when You are almost in the money I think better is wait few hands more and taki minimum prize

Why are you letting your stack get down to 4 BBs?

Your shove was fine given the stack size, but you had no fold equity and UTG was calling 100% with ATC. You weren't in too bad a spot with ~40% equity to win...but even so, it's just a really bad spot to get yourself into.

Don't let your stack get this low as it does nothing for you and just puts you in these awkward spots. Find spots to jam your stack in and pick up blinds/dead money, but do it when you do have a stack with some fold equity. It's always going to be better to find a spot to jam 10 BBs with a weaker hand and some fold equity, than it is to fold to ~4 BBs and jam with no fold equity.

I'm working on a short stack late stage MTT thread. I think you might benefit from it.

From their view it could be:
It's near the bubble and you are short stacked so you could be playing very loose.
They have an ace and a high 2nd card and can take the loss,
It would be worth taking a chance and taking some more chips

If you weren't connecting with any other cards then I would would be wondering if someone else had an ace. It sometimes feels like there is *always* someone with an ace...

I would have done what you did. Good solid hand, possible flush, possible run, if paired then strong pairs. Just didn't happen this time.

I think this is a pretty clear fold. You have no fold equity, and might not for the next hand either, but that situation had to be avoided earlier. Better off shoving ATC next opportunity when you can be first in.
