Hi Cardsking i take it from your post you haven't played a lot of large field tourneys and you want a good chance of running deep.

Start tight taking advantage of your good hands until you get some idea of your opponents, which might not happen for a while due to moving tables too often.
As the blinds increase start to open up your pf ranges a bit from late positions and try to workout who's blinds should be the easiest to steal.
When the antes kick in depending upon your stack you might have to start stealing with weak holdings to stay in front of the rising blinds.
If you ever get your stack down to around 10 M (10 rounds of blinds & antes) you should be shoving weaker hands the later your position at the table or blind vs blind shove almost any two cards.

You might want to avoid battles with short stacks and monster stacks when it gets to shove or fold time.

Good luck bud is there a specific area that's giving problems?

good luck, that's gonna be tough to even cash with so much players, don't try to outplay anyone if you know what i mean just play solid and don't try any tricks, if you get low play solid and look to double up with a strong hand, try not to shove preflop if you don't have people covered, and since it is a turbo don't be too tight cause you will get blinded out, just make sure not to play too loose, also don't play more than 20 percent of hands and sort of pick the spots where you are comfortable, on occasion if in position splash around with a weaker hand just don't try to bluff people with it

yeah book written in 1985, you can't just play tight aggressive and win tourneys, you need reads on people, different speeds to your game, leveling, strategies, if you were to simplify it to being tight aggressive that may be for different points of a tourney but things change and changing as your opponents change is a must unless you want to be a losing player you can't play straight forward

i dont read all comments but i will give u some tips.
At the firsts hands u should not put all exept u have premium hands, also i recomend u not to do big bluffings, i mean dont use all ur stack for just bluffing.
When the lights are becoming big u should try to get the blinds, if u have a big stack, stole blinds from the little stacks, if u have a little stack, just find the hand to put all in and double it.

For me in a large field tournament like the Big little I set goals for myself within the tournament. Of course the objective is to win but you have to do it one step at a time. Try to keep up with the raising blinds and find opportunities to double up against an aggressive player.

true, its a balancing out, take advantage of all you can, that would be sweet to ship that type of tourney :) even final tabling it is such a huge accomplishment

Yes , I have this problem within myself that Even when I have a weak Pocket Pair like 33 , 44 & an Ace , king , queen turns .
I know i'll lose but still my hands dont stop . They wanna go in and lose . But i'll try to play cauciously as i tryin to live on playin poker online .
So this is food for me .

Play tight until the antes start and then start adding the aggressiveness!
