Hi D3STROY3RaJ. I play in a lot of MTTs and I see a lot of chip leaders use their stack to bully the short stacks. It really works good for them when the bubble is real close, and nobody wants to get knocked out there. For me, I try to wait it out and hope to catch a hand I can either call or go all in with. But I'm not going to wait until I have a short stack anyone will call, so at some point I'm moving all in no matter what I have, and I try to do that when it's just me and a big stack. You maybe surprised how many times they will fold to keep from doubling you up. And you maybe surprised how many times a chip leader will think twice before they try to bully you again if you get in that same situation again. GL to you

I also believe that we need to take risks with a strong hand

I personally do fold to neustraivaet me the map, and if it suits me call the flop and raise (for a suitable flop), and then you can and Ollin go if something serious looms, the main thing is not to miss more than a strong possibility the combination, and the difference vstekah not necessary throw out of sight, if you are about equal, the leader will not be thoughtlessly call all raises with not very good card

I thing you have 2 opportunities:

Frst wait strong card's.But what is a strong card's is a question, hands hight pair or somthing you got out in flop.
Secund is a card's on flop, just wait and follow opponents if agresive if not maybe give a blind and see how is his reaction.

Well, if you stack 2-3 times less than the chip leader then you need to play very tight, wait for a strong hand and raise, push all in

I agree with these guys, you have to take a stand sometimes. If you play scared you will just blind out.

Expected to have a monster pair or a strong pair and reraise him. He just wants to steal the blinds, and u will stop him.

I play with caution and only go with strong cards, but you can not let your chips go away ...

You need to play very aggressively and make big bets with your good hands.

I soooo agree .

On every tournament I play I prey for a guy like this , a LAG chip leader who raises all the time , to be on my table , it's a chance to bouble up your stack any time by playing a very good hand passively and in the end check raising or raising the river or whatever .

But if the chip leader is more tight after the initial raise , then I adjust my play dependingly on how strong my hand is .If it's very strong I slow play him carefully , if not I bet first to ask pressure and usually I adapt my play accordingly to the flop board . But I guess if he is a TAG its easier to read him , if you play well your cards and you don't get scared of the raises you'll do just fine .
:)
