Earlier I was playing a freeroll tournament and I'd managed to go from 2k starting stack to 5k before I was moved to another table. At that table there was a player who had somehow reached about 20k, and he was playing like crazy. He was betting 5-6bb every round with any face card-low card combination, suited connectors and/or pair and the result was I felt I could only safely play against him if I had 99 hole cards or better.
My question is this, when you find yourself playing against someone like this, who's playing like crazy and he's got you well covered, generally speaking what's the best way to play? Do you just play really tight and then shove whenever you have anything worthwhile?
