what is your chip account compared to your opponent? going just on what you said i'd probably push or check/shove if your opponent tries to raise

Ship it. He didn't shove pre-flop, so that limits his range. Considering you don't have much more than a pot-sized stack left, there's no point to betting less. As noted, you could go for the check / shove, but there's no guarantee he'll bet.

An M of 10 is not a short stack. How many bb's do you have? 30?

As played you put yourself in an akward spot IMO.
I mean you still have way to many chips left to just shove it in on the flop, but if you bet you are more or less commiting all your chips.

My suggestion would be to raise smaller pre.

M of 10 is rarely 30BB deep. Just shove flop.
