Multi table poker
how many tables do you play simultaneously?
I see there are players who open up to 40 tables at the same time,I can not understand what the decision parameter is when we have so many tables playing at the same time
we can even put a predetermined action, but the question is:
will we keep our attention on every table without losing focus on a move?
I managed to open at most 8 tables, my mistake was to open them in turbo format, I believe that when we open more than 4 tables, the format should be slow, so you do not lose focus of the game.

For you, what is the highest volume of tables open at the same time?
When you play multi-table, can you make a more profit, or only make volume without much financial return?

It depends a lot on my bankroll and also from the session sometimes I play six screens or more and there are days that I get two or three screens so on playing 8 hours more.

Depends if I am playing SNG single table I will keep it to 2-4 if playing a handful of MTT's 6-8.
Past couple months I have tried playing only two a time and sometimes 1 in the hopes I do not get too bored when I go to a casino which I plan on doing in the next few weeks

The best result is obtained when playing from two to four tables. This is the optimal number for my game MTT

Personally I do not play more than 4 months at a time, some time ago I started to play in 2 tables, today I already play in 4, but I see far the possibility of increasing the number of tables.

I play on 3 computers at the same time and try to have always two tables running on each. Makes it six, sometimes I stay in Tournaments and have more tables open on one PCand get in trouble with my cpu and memory, sometimes I reach my goal to hook up in one tournament on each screen. So from the technical point of view 6 is maximum (without tracker) and as this is the second step of my training, I'm doing sometimes 4 tables on the same computer to get used to, and when I've earned enough for my new computers, I will groqw up step by step until there are 3 computers with 4 valuable tables on each, that's the goal, your picture looks GREAT :D:D:cool:

I can easily play four cash tables at a time, six with extra effort. Cash tables are easy to do this with because you are generally making the same sorts of decisions at all of the tables. The only variables are the players themselves.

I can't manage more than two tournaments at a time (and actually prefer just one) because the blinds and stages add a lot more complexity to each decision. Plus, unless you can start both tournaments with identical structures at exactly the same time, each table has to be treated differently.

From a practical perspective, I have one 2560 x 1440, 27 in. screen and can only see (with a lot of difficulty) eight tables max on the screen.

It depends on the stakes and whether I play on my ipad or desktop computer with a 22" screen. On the desktop, I have played up to 6 games at once. On my Ipad, maximum 3 because they are never on screen at the same time. If I am playing freerolls, I can play more...if I am playing cash games, I play fewer games so that I can concentrate.

When you play so many tables at the same time, you can play them technically, but you cannot watch the details of each game and the maths which does not allow you to have the performance you can. So two games is the best!

I really envy people who can play 8 or more tables at the same time
About me I can play 4-5 tables when I play MTT, but rly understand how can you control more.
Maybe I will learn from experience in time :)

Usually play 4 tables, so much more interesting, not have to wait long, and 40 tables seems to me to play really

But that's exactly the point! The more you play, the more you get used to. At the beginning I was just overwhelmed when all this windows popped up at the same time. Bing here, dong there dingeling from the musicbox and someone ringing at the doorbell. Stress pure, I swar!! Now I have my system, start them little by little, it's getting better and yes, I have control of 6 MTT's at the same time. Necessary to mention I play Freeroll and tickets, so some important, some just as usual, and today Pokerparty mixed up my plan because they signed me automatically in the 5,50 Tournament. I wanted to take the next one in 2 hours. So I had the important one together with all the others and sure I messed it up :( It's a process...

I play constantly in 2 tables and for me it's normal, 2 tables I play one cache game and another table is a tournament, but sometimes when many freeroll tournaments I open 4 but rarely, and 2 for me is normal, but you can play 4 but you need to the money was to open 4!

I think it depends on your skill level and what kind of tables you are playing. If you really want to practice certain things maybe just one or two tables but if you want to practice with more then you should be a quick thinker

I usually play 2...sometimes 3...2 is optimal for my decision making. I would love to take it to the next level maybe 6 or 8
