I've been grinding the $0.50 Turbo SnG's on stars for the last 3 weeks, started with $25. My BR is now up to $42 (cheated a bit by playing a spin and go after a loss!), and I've been breaking even after every session.

I play 4 tables at a time, playing tight at the start then more loose towards the end. What let's me down is my inability to study, I don't know how to!

I know there's more to it than just googling 'SnG strategy' but I don't know where to start.. How can I improve by looking at hand history? What maths can I use? And how do I study other aspects of the game?

Thanks

Want to learn to play don't play at multiple tables. Getting into the habit of going and then in big tournaments to play. You can't keep track of all the players on 4 tables at once. How anyone who plays like bluffing often and how long he thinks.

My advice is to read this forum and post hands in hand analysis forum. Explain why you mkae a certain play and hear from other what they think and how would they play it and WHY.
READ and APPLY

You can also do some book reading, I think Sklansky Theory of Poker is a must for every poker player as it well explains basics. I found it really useful.

In my opinion TURBO Sng are not very good for learning how to play good poker, because there are many times where everybody's stacks are so short 10-15 BB, and coin flips often determine the winners.

However they can be useful to learn short stack play.

I recommend playing regular tournaments-less variance.

Get some of the newer books out there, go to youtube and look up people like Gripsed. Find hands you are unsure about and post them asking for feedback.
