Hi everybody!

Playing for almost 3 weeks and I started grinding 1¢ tournaments at Poker888. These sit and go's are really easy to play and then I receive a 10¢ ticket for a step 2 or 10¢ sit and go. But I want to know, if more people experience that this 10¢ sit and go harder is to play then when you join a tournament with 50¢.
People are playing so tight and passive, that 1 game is almost 1 hour.

Hope people can tell me more about their experience!

Honestly i have never played 1¢ SNGs :D
But i see no difference between 1¢ & 10¢ or even 40¢ (i don't know where did you found 50¢ SNGs on 888, probably miswritten). So i wouldn't mind much about level of poker will be higher on those limits, it won't. Until you reach $3 or even $5 games. And even there i see a lot of fish still. However more important thing is that you have to stick consistently to a bankroll management. This is essential. You could read many articles about that yourself, but in short words: not paying SNG limits with buy-ins higher than 3% of your bankroll is a good way to go. Of course you may differ it to conservative BR management 2% or more aggressive 4-5%, so that it fits more to you. But i wouldn't pay more than that. Simply because no matter how good you play, we still have a variance in poker. And even if you are beating some limit like a beast for several days, it can happen that you get unlucky days again and loose a lot. That's why BR management is so essential for every serious poker player, who don't want go broke. And remember always checking this after you lost some games, if your bankroll is getting too low, you shall back to lower limit, until you have enough money to afford your come back on those you played before.

What is the practical meaning of playing such tournaments? Your winnings will be a maximum of a couple of $ for the whole evening of the game ... And this is not a good science, because Most players do not understand the strategy of the game at all, play for good luck.

you may have to clarify here, but I assume you're talking of the 10c step 2 MTT which gives out multiple tickets. People play nitty but it's very easy to win this. You have to study satellite play and learn that folding a good hand or sitting out is the best option when you're guaranteed a ticket and could lose that guarantee. If you are getting bored maybe increase volume, if you're just playing one 10c step 2 mtt you are probably wasting your time and would be better off investing that in a step 2 SnG or ten 1c SnGs, if you are multi-tabling it can be worth it to play these. In my experience these are super soft, as well as the 10 man sit and go step 2 for 1 $1 ticket. Ive won plenty of $1 tickets on these

I learned to play poker with Sit-in-go , but the problem is that the games are very different ,there is little limit from big limit tournaments. Where the game is more specific. I played the tournament 11$ and his game took off just 10 hands, so be careful. The difference is colossal

I'm sorry, you right there is a 50¢ tournament on Poker888 and 10¢ Sit and Go. But thanks for the information!

You have to start small, learn the game and then go up with your bankroll. Playing 10¢ tournament helps me training my skills.

Oh no, I was talking about the Sit and Go 10¢ (10 handed turbo) at Poker888. I start playing first the 1¢ step 1 and then with that ticket I joined the 10 handed turbo 10¢ and I saw that there was a big difference how people play. I know 1¢ is nothing and lot of people are going all-in. But at 10¢ 10 handed turbo on Poker888, people are playing so hard. It is almost hard to beat everybody :p So better go to step 2 instead of playing 10¢ 10 handed turbo?

Yeah, I keep to my bankroll.
