Until you get down to the last several players I think it's better to be aggressive. From my experience other people fold to raises a lot ITM.

I would say aggressive. Most people play very conservatively close to the money, which is usually a good time to play more aggressively and build your stack because people will be afraid to commit a lot of their stacks right before getting into the money.

Aggressive play wins. But obviously the more hands you play the more of a chance to chip up, or go broke. Many players are trying to ladder up the pay jumps ITM so being aggressive will win you a lot of pots. Putting pressure on the blinds of tight players will result in winning.

I'm always going to play by the size of my stack:

2-9BB shove at any excuse, if I lose I got better things to do, going to need chips to make final table

10-16BB more conservative, I can afford to wait

17-30+BB more aggressive again, see more flops, margin for error better.

You need a lot of chips to hit 1-3 spot in payout, it is the only reason to sit there honestly, having it drag out 2-3 extra hours for a 12-5 place payout is a bad waste of time, find a cash game you can beat instead.

I play more aggresive but I generally try to have a stable course, at every stage of the tournament searching like a good hunter the profitable cases!

Depends mostly on my stack size...
Around 7bb-12bbs Im shoving a huge range in late position. A5s+, K7s+, Q10s+, All pairs,

67s+, basically. Also, Restealing with those hands and shoving over a late position raise that is likely stealing.

With a stack that can handle a few three bet and fold hands, I'm aggressive.

With a big stack I'm a freight train.

Right before the money hits is the absolute best time for me to pick up chips in most tournaments. Everyone tightens up and you can really rake in a lot of small pots. Once I get to the final table, with about 6-9 players left, I'm aggro again. Once Im down to the final few players, Im still aggro but a lot more careful.

When I'm in the money I'm starting to play more relaxed.

When I'm in the money I'm starting to play more relaxed. But at the same time I do not allow myself to go into the game on a trash card. I try to play also carefully so that I can take a higher place and get more money. In order to win tournaments you need to keep concentration until the last hand. Very nice feeling when you are in the money, but always want to take a place as high as possible.

there are many ways to play when you are already ITM, lpasa is that each game will apply what you know best, there are players who love push-fold (I have many friends who like to do that), you have to try to discover how you should play and that you feel comfortable with that, for example I do not play push-fold because it bothers me and it does not turn out well, there are those who play aggressive, etc etc, I can calmly tell you how to play aggressive on every play, but if that does not mean you it works and you do not feel comfortable

On a typical day: ITM, bubble tightness broken, I play my normal game. Nothing fancy.

Sadly there have been a couple times where I am so tired and going cross-eyed I only cared to cash and I'll ask for a chop, and if not I start playing very lose and aggressive just to go big or go home and go to bed. It is not my livelihood, and the first 10-hours of playing was fun, but my butt was whooped.

When you're that far into the game, the blinds will be worth taking down. So as a rule I tend to try to take them down, with fairly decent holdings of course. You don't want to get called by someone who has you absolutely crushed. So being selective is important. But letting go when you know the gig is up is important too.

Playing my cards ITM

It is all dependent on my stack..sometimes players miss the opportunity to ladder up a significant prize when they have chips as they tend to be overly aggressive..i choose to pick my spots, play tight aggressive poker, keep pots manageable:D..

When first itm I play carefully and wait for opportunity as small stucks play more lose and risk more easy. After the Dinka are gone I play more carefully and soonest we are heading for final table ... I sit out... lol... I play only prime hands

Many players talk to you about being aggressive but that is a lie you must know what kind of players you are facing and how you represent yourself to them if you have great strength at the table and your opponents see you as a hard player. Being aggressive is good but If you do not have that image during the tournament and at the table they do not consider you that way, it is more likely that you will be eliminated. Remember also that your chips will speak for you. Play well follow what I take you there and sure you arrive at the final table

ITM is better to be cautious. Be aggressive because you're going to carry that many people do not accept your bet

Be aggressive or prudent ... I would say that a combination of the two, aggressive when you have a good hand really aggressive is the best option but being careful not to lose chips unnecessarily, since at that stage of the tournament the majority of players usually have between 20 and 30 BB which makes them more aggressive and therefore is not faborable to see if you connect some hands on the flop. And also defend your blinds as well as possible again taking into account not making moves that make you lose chips. Good luck at the tables.

All money is generally at the top in tournament so keep position in mind steal a lot pots as blinds antes now in pot and their is a lot of value in steals then gonna have to gamble at late stages have the chips to gamble many times so make it good and hope for some luck
