How do you play JJ in MP against LAG/TAG?

I'm at a table, seems like half TAG, half LAG, based solely on observation from about 12-14 hands. We're in the middle stages of a tournament, stack sizes are surprisingly close (everyone but 1 person is right around the average stack size). Everyone calls before me and there are still 4 people yet to act. My instinct here is just to limp in and hope for a reasonable flop. Am I shooting myself in the foot by doing this?

JJ is a good hand. Dont be afraid to play it. I think I would do a standard raise. 3x BB + 1BB/limp.
This should discourage some others from calling. Maybe 4BB + 1/limp makes the chances of you winning even higher.

If LAG calls you can play more aggressively i think. Beware of overcards especially out of position.
If TAG calls/reraises you can fold postflop if overcards are on the board imo. Care with 4bets because they could easily have qq+ as tags. If its not too high you can still try to hit a J on the flop.

Hope this helps!

When you have a pair you are in leaders position, and JJ are good cards. I would raise and then see what will happen. Just never go all in before you see the flop. Good luck :)

To me in particular I do not like this hand just call to see the flop and before any aggression I would prefer to retire
