How do you feel about limping a doubtful hand?

When you have KJo in your hands, you are in the middle position, the table is aggressive, can you limp with such hands or be an aggressor? Personally, I can not play this hand aggressively, I try to gently look at the flop. And how do you do it?:hmmmm2:

I actually prefer to fold this hand. Playing such hands will increase variance. Only form late positions with stack better than 15bb i use it for a steal.

And if I come in with a limp and get a strong hand on the flop? I prefer to look for a cheap flop with the "pictures", in the hope of escaping the stack

What you should be thinking about more so isn't so much how this hand looks by itself but instead ask yourself if I limp with this hand what will I do if someone raises. If the answer to that is fold, than I'd say don't play the hand in general. If you do want to play it though, I'd say raise to 2 or 2.5BB instead of limping for two reasons. Firstly, it'll usually make other hands that would have limped fold so you get into a more favorable post flop scenario with less players. Secondly, it shows a sign of strength when you raise instead of limping and people will perceive your range differently which can win you a lot more chips when you disguise you hands like that. Also when you limp you basically have no idea what the BB has and sometimes he can hit a really lucky hand with junk cards (2 pair, low straights, etc.) or completely bluff you off a hand on a wet board. So my advice is generally not to limp, especially with hands that aren't really strong pre-flop like KJo.

I too would rarely limp. Beyond the excellent comments by thatguy6793 above, I'm always thinking about bluffing if I miss the flop. I'll c-bet the same regardless on a fairly dry flop, and will often take the pot against one (MAYBE two) other players without a fight, ESPECIALLY if the caller(s) are in the blinds. Some people just can't let go of anything pre-flop if they already have a tiny amount invested in the hand.

Also, you said that the table was aggressive. If nobody has raised before you, there's no actual guarantee that they'll re-raise, or even stay in the hand after you open. It does happen that even the toughest players get horrible cards and won't want to play them if someone else has already shown some aggression.

Limping with KJo is just not worth it, it will get you in trouble more often than not, you should raise if the table is a little soft but if its aggressive just fold, around the bubble you can play it a bit more.

Thanks for the advice, then I'll be harder to play them, even though I'm already 7 years old in online poker, but lately I've become limping such hands.

Get to the flop

Get to the flop its most likely if someone has a monster it will get 3 bet before it comes around to you again. If you are against a monster with a hand like that and you hit most times you gotta trust they have it since you're risking by limp calling a 3x-4x bet.

It all depends on the situation, you can come in the lumbar and see what will come on the flop, you can bet to squeeze every shuffle, if you change the can be thrown away, it all depends on the situation and the players who sit with you at the table

There is nothing good in getting a pot with a hand KJ where there are many players, And even if K comes on board, you need to be very careful not to lose chips, because someone can form two pairs of some garbage or collect set. Usually small pairs and connectors to play limp.
KJ is well suited for opening a raise from late positions, for stealing a blind

KJo, midle position, I play particularly cautious, love this hand, always give us opportunity to win some Stacks. Most of the time I enter Limp, if there are any aggressors on the post-flop table, I'll analyze the board, if I lost, fold it.

Very often your hand on flop won't be so strong as you will think about it. Mostly you will be dominated by kicker or you will have a pair against a set.

Its not a hand i am a fan of in all honesty, but one that is worth a few chips depending on the action before hand.

KJo in middle position is a good hand to raise with and fold if you get 3betted. When stack sizes are low you can limp with hands like AA or KK and some hands that play well postflop.

Limpy whimpy

I love to limp around on two good cards! KJ o/s though, not one I'd feel too strongly about. Id call maybe double raise. Cracks me up when the big mouth on the table gets bent over with a limp one rearing up!

You are right to make doubts and this is understandable. Each hand can be a favorite. Use the image both for bluff and image of rivals to rate their position. This will help you to make a clear raise or pass

I don't like KJo, so I mostly fold it.
