if its in a freeroll.. I wait till I have a good solid hand then call and hope the poker gods are with me..otherwise for the most part, I just fold and wait it out

Wait for appropriate cards(against their hand-ranges)... isolate... and then attempt to utterly destroy... first chance i get... I like "solid" playing LAGs... but hate spew/lag-tards who think they gus hansens... they aren't... gus hansen is gus hansen... lol

Just wait for good cards and call him. It's easy to win against this type of players.

I agree with the consensus and to wait to get a decent hand and try your luck. In most cases they will lose steam or get busted before to long so don't get discouraged and try to stick to your strategy. In some cases you will see this type of player later on but with rising blinds and sinking stacks your decision making becomes pretty easy. Good luck on the felts!

Exactly this. Tighten up your game against them and then pounce with SOLID hands when opportunity knocks.

Odds are with you to pick up some easy chips from this type player.

It is a blessing to have a player on your table that you pretty much know what they are gonna do.

yah... they're good for increasing your chip stack... Only problem I have is when there is a couple of these types on the table pulling "squeeze plays"... sometimes you have to "let the smoke clear" before you can do anything...

The best strategy against donkeys is to play tight aggressive, you wait for a good hand and then when you are participating you must bet, raise and re-raise more often and in a higher amount of money

Patience and luck. Sometimes I flop a set, but by the river it comes a runner flush... so yea, and timing I guess

Simple advice PANIC!!!!!!!!!!

sound advice is to play your strong hands but honestly, the times they hit and your gone early.

Can you lay down AK suited when donk 1 and brother 2 go all in pre flop for 3k ? and you hit you hit and the flop is ace,10,6 and you glance at villian donk 1 he has 10-6 off WTF ?? you called the all in

I like to have pocket pairs when going up against them clowns... seeing as how it's an already made hand pre-flop... If i'm in early position i'll just limp in and when they attempt that same nonsense call/re-raise all-in myself... If in late pretty much the same... high ranking "speculatives" like say KQ+ and AQ+ (preferably suited) are nice but i've encountered situations where nothing matching for me hit the board... hence, the pocket pairs...:)

warning: be careful that you don't mistake a "true-blue" LAG for a donk... Some "solid" types use multiple all-ins like once or twice because normally players get caught off guard and fold the first time or two... it normally happens that after a hand or two of doing this players get tired of it and play back at the wrong time when the opponent really does have a hand...:D

sometimes there is nothing you can do, but usually if your patient you can wait for the right moment to take most or all of their chips

That kind of players are almost always bluffing and if you have a strong hand and you get aggressive and you will see that it will not match

With so many players playing so aggressively, a conservative strategy
ought to pay big dividends, since strong hands rate to get paid very well. If the blinds were
increasing slowly, and the rounds were longer, this would certainly be true. But with short
rounds and sharp blind increases, a strictly conservative approach won't yield results fast enough
to keep your stack from shrinking as the blinds come charging.

These guys are mad, but I just call their all-ins when im sure i have a pocket high, like JJ+. They usually do these things to steal bets, so if u call, is probable that he wont have higher cards that you, but be careful cause sometimes the flop can hit his pair or triple and you lose. So just wait till you have a good solid hand to call, but even with strong hands is up to you wheter calling or not, cause sometimes it's better to wait for the correct time to play a good hand with the other non-mad players than wasting time and money with these crazy donkers.

Patience!!!!!! Wait for the good hand and appropriate time to call. Let the donk get over-confident and then pounce.
