How to calculate bounty

So for example in 109 bounty builder the starting bounty is worth 1250 chips

Soo, if a player with a stack of 1250 chips opens utg at blind level 15/30, can i profitably shove 72o on him for 40 bigs? If not, explain why please.

Why do you think you could, your going to lose you stack the vast majority of times.

It also mean knocking yourself out to get 25% of what you paid to enter.

If you plan on shoving with 72, how would you expect to win. You know you at least have two live cards but the other player will probably have you dominated. You also have to realize others at the table that fold will have folded your outs, leaving you with nothing to catch.
