I played for the first time on America's Cardroom and I noticed a super significant buy in increase even after an hour.
What is the best approach, that you think, is the best way to play these types of buy ins?

Do you buy in after 20 min of play to rid donk high betters?

Do you go balls to the wall re-buy in quick?

Ride it out?

=- Be cool to think everybody's output on those situations -=

Late reg is good if your bankroll won't be affected by the possible variance of getting it in within 1-3 orbits.

I love to late reg smaller buy in tourneys. Love putting pressure on people and seeing them panic.

Its all about choosing your spots.

Min raising early position looks super strong, and gets through alot as people become more shallow.

Find the nits, and raise their blinds.

I like to start playing MTTs from begining but if there are 20 min blinds then i reg after an hour. If you reg in late reg you have to be more aggressive and need to develop your stack as quick as possible to get ITM

i hate late reg tournaments just for a question of time you could be playing more than 3 hours to start entering in the money, however is preferably to play it from the beginning you have time to choose a good hand, you have the option of playing loose, see the flop often. if you register late, is similar to play a turbo tournament and that's a bit gambing.

Late check-tricky thing). Despite what your style of play. If you are a tight player then this tactic is clearly not for you.

I hate late registration. I dislike it more than rebuys. On Bovada, some tourneys run late registration for 135minutes! That's obnoxious.

I Feel you are better off buying in from the beginning. Place More aggressive when not to many people are in the hand. I noticed the check raise doesn't work too well online. People call with just about anything. so bet when you know your hand is made

will depende the type of tournament, if is a turbo if you register to late, you'll play like a short stack, normally i play turbo from the beginning but the regulars ones u can register late, you'll have good blinds to play....
A lot od donks survive in the early game so you'll have the players always present in your tables, unless you play big buy ins!

I do not like late registration. If the tournament has been going on for 30 minutes then I do not register and do not buy a new entrance. It makes no sense.

well recorded at the end of late registration, so as not to fly until its completion

here I am with you do not agree, there is a reason regi since by that time all the fish fly, you can play a little quieter with a cold mind:angel:

For me it's all about how much time I have and I generally do not have the time to invest that extra hour so I actually like late registration at the last level of small AC GTD when there are only about 30-something players left. I'm a very tight player but pick good opportunities to double up or knock out the floundering. Optimally, you want to see every hand of every tourney but you also have to play to your strengths and needs. If you have a hard time resisting the all-in donkfest in the beginning without solid hands, then waiting is best. It's really about you knowing your playing and weighing your interests. Good luck!

If you're skilled at playing short stacks (knowing profitable shoving ranges), then registering late is fine, but I prefer to get in from the beginning or within the first couple of levels to decrease the variance.

Buy in at the start and play smart tight poker. If you manage to build 3-4x your starting stack you can field all ins on the bubble from late reg atc shoving donks with a tight range.

Just look at starting stack size, current blinds and antes, and how often blinds go up.

Then determine if it's worth buying into.

Even though I dislike late registration in general, it can be strategic for some deepstack, long blind level tourneys.

Say you start with 5000 chips and the blinds are at 15-20min levels. Registering an hour or two into the tournament isn't really a big deal. As long as you start with at least half the average stack and have 10-20bb, it can be a profitable venture. You have to know your short stack play well though.

Kekule actually couldn't have said it better.
The value of a late reg tourney is going to be highly dependent on the average stack, and the blinds at your beginning point.

With the blind levels how hard do you have to work to catch up.

On the other hand I love getting in the late reg re buys because you have people rebuying at a disadvantaged stack that already showed their style of play not to hold up. Though it doesn't apply to all but most people that repeatedly crunch the rebuy button are poor players anyway and therefor should be treated as cash cows...
