Grinding micro-stakes Sit and Go's, I hit a wall after around 25k hands. My ITM percentage dropped by 10% and my profit per dropped almost 80%. Yikes! During that streak (I've since moved up), I noticed I wasn't getting as much action and other players were making comments about how "good I was" or how "tight I was". I had a feeling that they had caught on to my game and just weren't falling for it any more.

I just read another post about some one hitting a losing streak after around 25k hands.

I know, BFD...

But, I'm curious. With online poker tracking software, do you think there is any advantage to switching limits or games after x amount of hands? Or switching styles?

Or how about mixing up your game, loosen up once in awhile.
If you find that players are becoming afraid to enter pots with you, use that by raising in position with ATC on occasion, but if you have an extremely tight image than I think raising from any position with do.

Actually most sites won't let you change your name and opening a new account under a different name can cause them to freeze your account.
(Check the rules at the sites)

I heard of one person (forgot the name) who managed to get a site to let her change her name because she was actually being harassed in real life from someone else on the site.
She had to have the police involved as well.

Some of the poker tracking sites will let you hide your stats from others, I know that "OPR" (Official Poker Rankings) will do that.

I don't worry about the web site trackers since most of them are usually incorrect or inaccurate

Full tilt will only let you change your name if its causing problems (like say your name was Aces9/11 cuz your bday is September 11th.) otherwise the only way you can change is if you go pro. Dunno about other sites.

Change your play.

If you have a reputation as a nit and people are talking about it, then I don't see a reason to not raise every other cutoff with ATC. Or making a similar adjustment, for instance.
