Hello all.

I`m just about to start a $100 buy in high stack (5000 chips) and as some of u will know, even on line it is a long drawn out affair!!!

So, to pass the time away I`m writing this post.

When starting with a higher stack would you guys wait longer, or gamble more (early stages) I would be very interested to know your thoughts guys

The smaller the blinds are in realtion to your stack size the tighter game you should play. Early stages of MTTs for me consists mainly of folding. Wait for your big hands, play them aggressively and be patient.

If theres a lot of players, 100+ take it easy at first, as the blinds get bigger so do the pots, so i tend to wait till the pots are bigger, if you lose 1,000 chips, you can get them all back by winning just 1 pot when the blinds go up,, the MAIN thing in MTT`s is Patience>>>>> buck:cool:

U 2 have noticed I am talking about ...

High starting stacks? So instead of the normal 1500 starting chips I am talking 5000.

I would play tighter personaly, but a few people seem to play looser while the blinds are smaller.
