Today I participated in a freeroll with a prize of 1 ticket $ 109 for a high roller tournament. I took the 2nd place out of 4422 participants and got nothing, unfortunately. Did you take part in this tournament?

No but a 4422 runners MTT that is hyper turbo and winner take all is a terrible structure that I would not even invest time in. If I did though I would take all the risk in every spot because second pays nothing and first doesn't pay much.

When there were three of us left and I was the chip leader, I went all-in with AQ and lost 9T.

And the most annoying thing is that the winner did not appear at the next tournament with automatic registration and his bank burned out.

I got 4th in this. I believe you can initially buy up to 25k in chips for .55c to start which is an optimal strategy. If you can simply hang on to those chips and you take the add on you get a disproportionately large amount of chips (50k I think), and this gives yourself a shot to win it.

Short stacks often go all in with garbage and rebuy so you can often pick them off with a middle to decent ace throughout the whole tourney.

When the blinds get too 1k/2k you probably shouldn't rebuy but I think they still let people rebuy but I think its only a double rebuy allowed at this point.

This tourney is near impossible if you dont at least buy once and take the add on.

I am in it now (EthericWiki) and made it to the add on and now have 94k. Will see if my strategy works. I like this tourney to warm up with as its cheap.
Just folded 33 in the BB to a 4 way all in (86k eff) will update here in real time.... leader has 352k avg stak 99k...87 remain....

I participate in this tournament every day in almost every freeroll the maximum I got was a 15th place, these freerrolls are very difficult, you have a single option or to stay in first place or .... to stay in first place. hasuhaushuhasuhas is quite a shot in the dark.

Do you buy max 5 buyins and take the add on? or do you buy less? Taking the add on is a must.

UGH 10 hands and havent VPIPd

Going for it with A8o in SB (56k eff). Up against A7 and 55. 55 hits a set and I am out 52nd. How anticlimactic that I didnt win the lottery!

2nd place is a great result for this tournament. Unfortunately, only one prize.
Dont be upset
If you have taken the second place, then you can win regular tournaments with even bigger prizes.
Good luck

I play them sometimes but not taking it seriously as it doesn't worth it - too many players, too short prize pool.
