I am consistently making it to 1st place to 6th place range in $5 buy in tournaments with about 300 people and right around the bubble I make mistakes that kill my stack. Some mistakes I've found are:

-Going all in with smaller stacks with marginal hands to see if I can pick up a stack. Especially if a higher stack joins.

Being too passive on the flop and folding with med pair or high pair low kicker.

Fearing not being in the money and playing passive.

I've placed in three tournaments in a row. $27 thur, $1016 1st place sat, and $70 Sunday a week ago. I'm not a beginner but would like someone to shed some light on high blond strategy that seems to work for them.

Thanks,
Rollo

I don't think I'm understanding exactly what you're asking here, are you talking about a strategy once the blinds and antes get bigger and the effective stacks get smaller? I don't really know how to begin answering your question until I understand it lol
