Help me choose a tournament

I recently managed to build a very small bankroll(around $1.50) on pokerstars through grinding some freerolls.
I'm trying to use a very strict bankroll management and was wondering if there is any kind of tournament I could start playing. The cheapest one I have found so far is the $0.02 hyper turbo 990 players sit & go which would give me around 75 buy ins but I'm not very fond of hyper tournaments. Is there any other option I might have missed or should I just wait until I have a bigger bankroll and start doing $0.10 sit & go's? I would appreciate any advise.

keep grinding freerolls but also play a few of those 2c hyper games every day because you may end up winning one of them and that'll make your progression alot quicker.

keep posting in the forum and staying active and then you will be able to join the freeroll club which has a freeroll on pokerstars every day

from there you will be able to make your bankroll grow I'm sure but always keep to your strict bankroll management so that your always making progress

Its better continue playing freerolls, specially cardschat, the best freeroll. The League is good too. You can play Sit n Go 0,25c 45 players, I think, I won a lot of this, 10 minutes blinds, it's not a turbo. The 0,02c is called "bingo of pokerstars" tourney.

Seems like a good compromise, thanks for the advice. Yes, I'm looking forward to being able to join the freeroll club.

Thanks, yes I started playing the league on elementary last month and I will be playing highschool this month. While I usually get points I think I only managed to cash once and the minimun cash is something like $0.01. The monthly rewards seem a little more accessible though, I almost managed to get top 500 this month.

Play sit & go tournament - 0.10 cents -360 players, it's an excellent tournament and you can win a little to raise the bankroll, and freerolls can also be played and win money, good luck in games

I would advise not to spend your bankroll, it is still not enough for adequate games. In the case of no case do not play 2 cents it is worse than a lottery, my advice is inclined to a variant of 0.25 cents - 45, 90 people. 10 cents is also not a bad option there 360 people and 36 prize places, that is, every 10 winners and all the same, I'm persuading the 0.25 cent cng tournament is the best option, anyway for me))

It's better to play 0.25 45ppl sng than those hyper tournaments ...And yeah the best option for building BR is cardschat's freeroll over the whole weekend

The sit of 0.02 really is complicated, not only by the speed, but by the buy so low that the majority ends up turning into a roulette. If you are going to strictly hit bank management, you should increase what you have. But if you have confidence and play fairly well you can risk on the $ 0.25 sit of 90 players, they are slow with a good forecast to reach prizes. luck

Follow in the freeroll until having a bankroll of about 5 dollars, better would be of 20 dollars, then would start for those of $ 0.25 SNG 45 palyer,[/SIZE]

You need to raise the bankroll with freerolls up to $ 10. Then try to play cash from $ 0.01-0.02, different tournaments with a small buy-in. Go to sit-end-go with 0.10 or 0.20 and decide for yourself what you like best and it turns out to be in profit.

Keep on freerolls until you have at least 3$ Then I would start playing those 0.02 Sit&GO are very fast but for those work for me because just reaching the prizes which isat least the 50 position you will get 0.10 which is your buy in x5 you should always try to reach that point obvious but also sometimes you'll get the luck you need an maybe reach at least in the first 5 positions and that will increase your bankroll very fast... I don't recomend you cash games without the proper study you mus study really hard to start playing cash and also play lots of hand to eliminate the variance.. that's my advice beginer to beginer GOOD LUCK on the Tables!!

I suggest the tournament is 0.25cents.A choice of 45 or 90 players. I think you will like it.

Unless you are studying hypers I would not jump into them, they have lower sustainable rois as well.

I dont know stars but why not grind some freerolls, homegames, and sngs until you are rolled to play the game you are best suited for.

Yes I noticed that, the min cash (top 5%) is 5x the buy in which doesn't seem so hard to achieve, maybe I'll give them a few tries and see how it goes, if not I'll keep saving for 0.10 tournaments.

Thanks to everyone of advisors and to the auuthor of the thread. As a beginner I would definetely try 0.25$ SnG tournaments after reaching a solid bankroll of 10-15$. Previously I was thinking about getting involved in cash games with small limits but after having read info given below I've changed my mind and put off this idea till I feel confidently in poker basics and theory. If the thread is still open I write my progress report here! Also I hope to hear more examples of small bankroll poker tourneys from experienced players!

I tried that too : to keep a very strict bm, but im not a very patient person :hahaha: so i went big and i played it all like a fish... i winned couple of thousand dollars in the past years but thats it ..Maybe if i could stop at some winnings and dont play 9+ hours untill my bankroll is dead

Friend good day wait a little more to play the 10c it is much better than playing the 0,25c the 0,10c the players they pay you easy all in pre flop with the worst hands wait more than everything will work.
