I have a small bank roll which i can play only 1 dollar tourney but being patient with all the donks always leads me to playing very conservative which i end up getting down from small and big blinds. Should i focus on single tables until i can play a higher stakes game or is there any good way to steal blinds to keep up.

Have you looked at SNG's?
Less variance than a MTT imho...

Also, if you plat MTT you need to be aware of when to play conservative and when to be aggressive.

It sounds like you need to start playing 6-player SNG Turbos. Not only do they go quicker and usually have worse players, but you'll be forcing yourself to learn how to avoid getting blinded out of a tournament.

Keep in mind, conservative play is not necessarily the best strategy against donks. Donks often chase draws and pay off average hands; learn how to take advantage of that. You WANT action from poor players, so get in hands with them and learn to make them your own personal bank account.

in the low stakes you dont need to steal the blinds, just play your hands agressively they call too much which is why its so profitable

1 dollar tourneys are great. just use your best judgement as to how skilled each individual at your table is and plow through the field lol. i got fourth on one of these just last night and won a little under $25. First place was over $100. Just play it like any other tournament.

i busted out calling someone's K8 shove with my AJ. All misses on the board and then an 8 on the river

One of the things you need to do to improve your game is to understand that it's not about playing the same way all the time. Poker is a situational game. Among other things, this means you should adjust how loose or tight your play is according to the situation at any given time.

This doesn't mean you have to loosen up to the point of being maniacal or tighten up to super-nitty. It does mean that you need to learn to be somewhat more or less aggressive than you normally are based on situational factors.

Are there any tells or certain things i should look for to start playing more aggressive towards some players or is it just something you pick up after hours of play.

if your watching the table you will see who is limp folding..... raise folding......

if i have seen somebody limp fold 80% of there hands, and i pick up 7 2, im probably shoving into him lol,
in a more serious note, if there are a lot of players getting involved with hands before the flop, then be conservative, eventually they have to slow down as there BB management forces them to, at the low stakes people dont even know what BB management is, but as soon as you notice there play to change, your gear should also change

It's more about about tendencies than tells. And you can tentatively assign tendencies with limited information as long as you know you're being tentative. As a simple example, if an opponent open-limps the first few times he enters a pot, it suggests he's passive. You can draw some conclusions like this from small amounts of evidence. You just can't be as confident as you would be if you had a lot more.
