I've been experimenting with all kinds of tourney Holdem variations and the one I'm stuck with currently is 2man heads up sit n goes. I'm not confident enough to go and play some big heads-up MTT's, but I sure hope to in the future.

What I don't like is obliviously the rake, you have to win more than 50% of these to break-even. The players on the stakes which I play ($1.5, $3.5) are exploitable. What are your opinions and tips on these?

Well I am a fan of the heads up sit and go if you are there with a fish. I had a run once of beating the same guy 10 straight times in a 5.15 omaha hi lo hyper turbo.. Then I have been on the other end and lose within a few hands.. I like the hyper's because it is about picking ur one hand and then going for it. The rake does kill you, but it is not 50 percent to break even... I would stick with buy ins from 5 and 10 bucks, until you feel more comfortable with your bankroll....

What I seem to hate is that people are willing to get it in with med pocket pairs abd when you're holding AK, how can I not call? So I end up taking flips when the payout doesn't compensate

Play loose and aggressive. Try to get as much info as you can for your opponent`s playing style. If he play too tight, raise often and fold to a 3bet for example. Just do NOT play tight. The blinds will swallow your stack and you will find yourself going all in with garbage.
