On Full tilt, a couple of different types of heads up matches are provided in the micro stakes. 500 chip super turbos, 1500, turbo and regular, and 3000 chip deep stacks. I've been grinding the micro stake super turbo ones (mainly cause the rake is lower) with some actual success recently and was wondering if anyone has any tips on which is most likely to be profitable. Play style probably has something to do with it, but any general tips are appreciated.

I personally prefer the deep stack. Both players has a lot of chips to play with and you can take your time. There's no rush in going all-in after 5 minutes

You have time to study your opponent and then attack their leak.

Heads up always ends up being more about the reads than the cards so the more chips you start with the longer the game should last (in theory at least)

find what suits your style best so you have the maximum chance to win

Super turbo = best knowledge of pushing ranges based on stack sizes + lots of variance

Deep stack = lots more post flop play, opportunities for bluffing, hand reading required, etc

1.5k is in the middle, turbo leaning towards super turbo with less play and more variance
