heads up decision in an mtt

I have kind of a standard spot. Heads up in an mtt. I have pocket threes otb 30bb effective. Is it profitable to just open rip this hand?

I would raise it up but rip 30BB in at this point. I would not do that. I just think your way too deep here.

Exactly. You're only getting called by hands that beat you.

The best heads up strategy is to open small with a wide range of hands. The reason is, your opponent is going to be out of position, so even he is getting a good price, you have all the advantages going postflop.
