Any read the Heads Up book by Coling Moshman? He wrote a great book on how to play SnG's so I figured why not, should be a quick read, after all how much is there to say about HU? I got my copy in the mail today, and it's about 250 pages long

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Read it and it's pretty good in general. Little too tourney focused for me but it will provide a solid HU base.

I read it quite some while ago when it first came out. I wasn`t greatly impressed. I came away with a couple of interesting ideas, but I didn`t feel it was particularly well written. It felt like the author had done a complete memory-dump of every stray thought he ever had on the subject and it was lacking theme or organisation.

I play HU in the SnG format, so this is perfect. I read the first few chapters and I am going to take my time reading this. This is going to be fun!! Let me know how you progress Dakota. :)

I need to finish reading my other sng book first - but hopefully that will be this week. Then I will start Collin's book and we can talk about it here.

Colin Moshman sit and go book

Ive just ordered his book, the original one,not the heads up one. From what ive been told the book is very good for stts.Is there much in there for multi table sngs or is it based around single table sngs?

Any comments about the book, how helpful has it been to you?

What book are you reading now I would like to find some books that are focused on stt's I have already read phil gordon litte green book and harrington on holdem (all volumes) but these books are mainly focused towards MTT's. I am starting to read Collin's SnG strategy but was hoping for some insight into any other good stt books

I am reading Phil Shaw's "Secrets of Sit'n'Go's." It is good - I like Collin's better but Phil's is still worth reading.
