So I have been playing in the WPT league here locally every Monday. On average we have 3 tables with an occasional 4th. I ended up in 5th place mostly because I have missed half of the games due to some health issues. None the less I made it to the game.

There is 19 people who will be playing in it. We start out with 20,000 chips with blinds starting at 100/200 and go up every 20 minutes.

Anybody have any advice going into the final game or do I just keep playing the way I got there, which is TAG.

BTW: If I come in first or second, I get an invite to the 2017 National league champion game in Las Vegas.

I took second and won an invite to the 2017 game in Vegas. I was crippled half way through to a guy who called my 3bet from the big blind with a Q 7 offsuit and hit both on the flop. I had pocket KK and pushed all in only to get crushed. I was down to 2 big blinds after that. I battled back and lost in the end with an A3 diamonds to K9 offsuit.

I am happy with my play tonight and even taking second does not bother me in the least.

I know nobody answered me on this thread but the advice I get on here all the time has really helped my game.
THANKS

Congratulations!

I'm curious if you don't mind.... How much is that 2017 invite seat worth? What state are you playing in? I got to look up WPT National Championship info.

I do not know if it is worth anything per say. It is an invite. The game costs $150 to sit at. The guy that beat me out in this game went last year and placed 64th. I think he said he won a little over $800.
