Have you ever won a tournament and if so, which one?
I prefer live poker games and seldom ever play online, but my first ever online freeroll was the 30 Day Course Freeroll for CardsChat. After 4 hours or so of play, I ended up being the last player at the final table; it kind of felt surreal. More so the sense of accomplishment for my hard work and study than the actual event itself, but it is probably one of those events I'll never forget
1st place finish at CardsChat 30 Day Course Freeroll (May 31, 2020). As my first ever CardsChat event, this one will always be special for me.
Yes, I have won tournaments. The biggest one I have won so far was for $4200 online, but I also won a live one at the Coushatta Casino in Louisiana where I took home $2100. It was a $100 buy in and only about 160 players but it felt good to see my skills I had honed online were paying off in the live games as well.
I have made it to 3 players in 3 tournaments in two we voted to chop equally, and in the third they wanted equal but i was by far chip leader so they gave into my demand for bigger share.
these were live at casinos in Oregon.
Iíve never won any large MTT. Iíve come second a few times. My best was 2/2500 ish. Iíve won many STT but Iím assuming you are asking about the larger tournaments. Though Iíve never won, Iíll take 2nd every time. Still nice payday.
Yes of course. If you play tournaments regularly, it is only a matter of time, before you win one. According to my PT4 database I have currently played 893 tournaments on my latest account, and I have won 16 of these. My largest win is around 550$ in a 11$ progressive bounty tournament.
Before I made my first deposit, I won a couple of freerolls on ACR, 2 on UNIBET and 1 on 888 Poker. Since my deposit, I've only won one and that was like a month ago. ( I'm not counting Sit n Go tounrnaments)
Its been two weeks since I've played any, I prefer cash games to be my anchor cause I have a more consistent win rate in them.
I believe I have won over 100 tournaments so far (I don't count the free ones)
I also believe that my big mistake is not playing poker "more seriously" ... I just don't have time.
Here are some results I achieved in a couple of months, when I played seriously
but I have to admit itís hard for something like this to happen again https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-goals-challenges-wins-46/poker-story-363285/
Of course) this is an amazing moment of your day) when you play for a long time and after many hours of playing, you make a big pot and get a prize) These were our favorite club freerolls) club home games, pokerstars freerolls, other rooms freerolls, microMTT ) I think most tournaments are won when luck is with you and you enjoy the game
Biggest 'real' MTT I've won I think was a 55 cent buy in; I shipped a $2 entry last night but it was just a club game and only had enough players to pay $15 up top. I won my entry or I probably wouldn't have played in it with my current bankroll.
Yes, I actually just did on Bet Online last week. It was free-roll and I won 167.00 for first. No re buys for me. Played straight and extremely tight. I kept my cool and even walked away from the computer for a few minutes when I found myself getting bored or on tilt.
I won 10k player freeroll tournaments with 4 dollars for the first of the old, and I made a lot of final tables, I also won hypers of 0.2, turbos 0.10. my brother got a second place 5.50 micromillons and gets 5.5k dolars
I haven't won any huge tournaments, but I've come in first in several free rolls and online tourneys with 50-200 players. Best I ever did in a live action tourney was 10th out of 500, but it was a freeroll, so the prize pool was small.
