whats your views on gripsed aka evan,
if you haven't checked him out, it may be the next step to patching up leaks.
Oviously a great poker player good official ranking he has alot to offer alot of poker players,
In my oppinion its Definately more than useful will get you on the right roadfor either micro or higher stakes , I think if you played his style and learnt everything he teaches - with your own added input anything extra you can bring - your pretty much going to do well playing poker if you have a good level of control

He is good, however he is not one for micros, and therefore could complicate your thinking while playing these, people are less likely to 3bet you light post flop in a 3.50 SNG Than they are in a $11 SNG. Just be careful you are not watching things that may not be relevant to your limits.

I really love his videos!!! They're educational as well as entertaining. Not only does he break it down well while adding his own insights, rarely do you get to see HOW a hero makes it the FT. In a world in which nobody does anything for nothing his generosity is to be applauded and speaks to his love of community and the game.

I love the crap out of Grisped. He's my hero! He even taught me about circadian rhythms in one of his videos, knowledge of which helps me sleep.

A nice guy and does a good job with his videos. Definitely recommended.

I haven't seen all of his videos, but to the user that mentioned his videos are too advanced - I think a lot of good videos can be used at any level, as long as you take into consideration the reasoning for plays, and not just try to copy "moves" or strategies.

For example, if a coach is 3-betting light in a video against an opponent, and he says 'his range is weak here because I have seen him open a high % of the time in this position' then you wouldn't just 3-bet light vs anyone in any game. But if you see someone opening very wide in a spot you would 3-bet light, no matter what buyin level you play.

I really like to look for advice like that, especially when learning a new game. It's how we adjust in situations, how we analyze decisions, not a preset strategy, that is important.

Gripsed videos are good. I've watched a fair few of them myself; he explains everything so well for all levels of players from beginners to well experienced.

Seems like such a good cool guy too.
