I've watched plenty of videos of Gripsed on youtube. Hes a guy who reviews hand history of people who have won large tournies. I was wondering if anyone else watches his stuff and has learnt something? I found his mtt strategy videos very interesting and I also saw some of the hand history videos.
I was wondering if you agree with his method of playing which he explains in his videos.

i've never seen his videos, but i'm always open to other's interpretation of hands played; they may see something that i missed, so it's always best to have multiple opinions.
Do you have a link for this guy's site?

He is a good trainer. Not the best, but the best that is for free! You can watch on twitch the stream of jcarverpoker (newest PS team online) he will stream for another 63 days in a row! http://www.twitch.tv/jcarverpoker

Just because they busted out of the tournament, doesn't mean they necessarily have a 'leak' (which caused it or something).
Similiarly, just because the player WON the tournament, doesn't mean their game couldn't be FULL of leaks.

It doesn't matter what position they finish in (imo). It's more about the player (or coach/person reviewing it) & how well they're able to discuss it.

Personally the vids. I prefer are ones which cover alot of different aspects/situations in tournament play (ie. finding good 3 & 4-bet spots preflop) & ones that also have a decent number of difficult/trouble spots.

I have watched this guy. I think its good to take whatever information you can from every and all players and develop a game suited to providing you with results. The saying goes, " a smart man learns from his mistakes, a wise man learns from others mistakes, and some people never learn". I think the benifits that come from joining gripsed along with the free advice is better than nothing at all and just like cardschat he is helping to establish a community and there is power in numbers.

Yes, I watch him on twitchTv....mainly for the promotions he offers because it's fun. He gives out passwords for his tournaments then streams them so you can watch his analysis as the game progresses....it's fun!
