Hello,
I'm starting to grind the low stakes turbo sit n go's. I have 2 questions basically.
1) what percentage of these should I be finishing in the money? Seems like I will be doing okay until I get knocked out of 5 or 6 in a row due to bad runs of cards. Basically I will just sit there waiting for a starting hand that never comes. and then I get down to around 10 bb and I shove with something and lose. This seems to happen regularly. I know about the independent chip model and I am trying to learn push/fold currently. Is this normal to all grinders?
2) when I lose like 3-4 in a row, should I just keep playing the same level of stakes in hopes of recovering the losses with a good run of cards?
It just seems like the variance is just too hard to overcome. It always comes down to 1 or 2 bad beats that is the difference between me making a profit and me not making a profit. HELP PLEASE!
I need to know how to handle the swings. Do I just keep my head to the grindstone and keep playing through the ridiculous swings?
Please respond if you can.
Thanks
