Can't ask for a whole lot better flop than that, and flush draws and overpairs (which you're a favorite against) are the largest parts of their ranges to shove over your raise. Which part of the hand are you wondering was good or bad?

Ah, vs. shoving? Interesting. I have an uninformed opinion, which is that I prefer the raise to a shove (calling and folding are both not options imo), I want action and assume raising is more likely to get it than shoving. But like I say, others will have more concrete suggestions I'm sure.

Thanks for the info,

I don't think shoving would have changed the outcome....

I was happy when I saw the two hands I was up against.

So, it's just bad luck - not bad poker??

Shoving would have changed nothing in the outcome of this hand, KK would snap call, and so would 2nd villain - especially now with even better pot odds.

You played the hand well and happened to get sucked out on which leads to your doubts.
