just folded tens against i don't know what

blinds: 15-30

villain raises to 120, he has 1835 chips i call 2 places before the button with tens and i have 1520 chips and the one after me and the guy on the button calls as well. pot is 525 3-4-6 rainbow and he bets half of the pot and i call. the pot is 1050 and on the turn a king comes and he bets again half of the pot and very quickly. now i'm thinking, either this guy is betting donk and has nothing or he at least hit a king on the turn or he even has aces because the king didn't prevent him to bet on the turn and i folded. so what do you think of this fold? it was an early stage so i also didn't want to take so much risk

This is a fold for me after the flop. The tens are good cards but not enough good against AA,KK. I could imagine one of these hands at your opponent. The fold after the flop costs only 4BB.

mid pairs will ALWAYS be hard to play.
1. shoving PRF in mid possition is risky + your are not the chipleader + it's begining of the tournament you might get called with A4s
2. your op shows strong hand. if you didn't see him shove J8o before, 4bet A2s there is not reason to thing that he is playng garbage.

conc.: I think it was a good fold from what you say, BUT for more perspective you have to see how op was playng before uber-agro or nit.
