Ideally in a tournament if you have a healthy stack, you want to maintain it. Seeing as how odds are you should have the best hand 1/9 times ~ 11.1% I thought I'd create a range with ~11% of possible to open with, in an attempt to win the blinds pre flop. Obviously tighten up in early position and loosen up in late.

22+,A10s+,A5s,KJs+,QTs+,JTs,T9s,98s,87s,76s,AQo+

Thoughts?

This is about 11.9% of all starting hand combinations so you probably will get dealt one each orbit.

Is a good range to call, but for cards of the same suit would prefer to play only hands like JT QJ or KQ, hands like T9 or 98 I prefer to use them to attack the Blinds from the end positions

You will need to be playing a tighter range from EP then toughly this range from MP then your range for CO, BTN and SB should be much much wider than this.

You are on the right track. Depending on the others at the table and how aggressive they are. Just be careful and call off a bunch of chips with your speculative hands. It's easy to do because you will get most of these hands most orbits. You can even play hands with 2-4 gap connectors if your table is really passive and limps a lot but then again it can be dangerous.
