I notice a lot of tighter and even some TAGy players start limping when the blinds get high in a MTT...usually around when there are 2 tables left.

Can I ask someone what they are doing?

What is the thought process?

There are obviously some spots where I can see a limp is ok here, but overall I see people limping like most or all of their range sometimes....

Did/am I missing something that can add a lot of value??

I have seen this done too, and it usually indicates that they don't want to bubble out of the tournament so they decide to risk the minimum and see a flop for cheap because the blinds are so high that if they raise their usual 3x or 4x it will constitute a huge portion of their stack. Unless it is a trap, it is usually a weak play and you should punish them by making big raises when in position.

If you have a hand, no mercy for the limpers. That's usually dead money, eashy money.

Everybody is waiting on the bubble/FT. Good time to chip up.
