I play them occasionally, not on full tilt but still hyper turbos on pokerstars. Variance in these games is huge, probably the worse of all game types.

The very best players will lose 100 buy-ins in hyper/super turbos often enough. Best strategy is you need to study ICM and your shove/fold game has to be good. Playing 8 games with an ok profit literally means nothing in them. You need to play probably 5000+ games to get an idea of what your real average profit would be.

Few times I play them (with buy in 1$; 6 players).
I don't think that in these SnG you need a strategy, 300 chips is too less to think about pre-flop fold with (for example) 10;10 on hand.

I really don´t like play those SnG because i really don´t like to gamble, and when i do i usually go bad. However when i play it i usually wait for the right spot with the right hand. Basically go all in with anything higher than AJ and JJ. But I must tell you it´s not my favorite kind of game.

They are very hard to win, it's more luck than skill. I have lost my last dollar at Carbon Poker playing hyper turbo SnGs. I have lost almost every hand, all in preflop and all in after seeing the flop. I think it was not my day.
My advice would be try some DoN from time to time or make a short break when you feel unconcentrated.

+1 ^^^^ this. We all know that long-term poker profit does not come from being lucky, its from skill and edge. Ram has indicated the main points you would need to focus on for these style games.

The games are for speed and huge volume essentially, if you can maintain even a 2% ROI over huge volume your going to see lots of profit and high accumulation of fpp/vpp/rake or whatever applies to the site your playing on. As indicated they are a really high variance game, you could go on a streak and win 50 in a row only to then lose 49 in a row for example, but again as we all know its all about the volume and long term and maintaining a +ROI or +bb/100.

I enjoy the games most of the time, however have never put in any high volume and usually have been breaking even lately when i have run them at best (but I have yet to really put any effort into studying the strategy for them, and we all know learning is key).

Like everyone says, you can have 50buy-in downswings playing super turbo, most of your profits come as rakeback and other bonuses. You'll need to practice that game through SNG wizard, and learn about ICM.

I don't recommend playing on FullTilt for superturbos, there aren't a whole lot of games going on for micro stake superturbos for most times of the day. Look up other sites and see how many games you have at once

they are actually lot of fun as long as you are making a profit :p, i think they have their pros and cons.
not playing them anymore though but i am definitely going to add them to my games as soon as i come up with a proper bankroll management for them.
