Does anyone else play this? I think that it's a fun tournament to play. I just started playing it. It's cheap, you can still win decently big money, and, it's fun to play. Also, you can try to win the freeroll satelite in to it as well. I just missed the money the first time I played it and just made the money the second time. So, far I'm about even on it and look forward to keep playing it.

A lot of people play it so it is a hardcore grind. Best I've done is 24th in the dd rebuy for $47.

too too long

I've played in the past and have done well, even making final table once, but it took all night long and into the morning. I don't play it much any more, becuase I play to win and don't have the required amount of time needed to do well. I do have too many other responsibilities.

I enjoy playing in it but don't get to play in it too often due to the length of the tournament.

IsOs a good low buy in with a high prize pool for such a small buy in.

i love the daily dollar, i usually try playing the freeroll they have on everyday for entry into the dd which i find is decently easy to win, it's for the top 250 i believe, however i only placed in the actual DD once and did not win that much... i have come very close to the money many of times though, i think its a great game to have going in the background of a more serious SNG

It's fun.. but, unless you hit the final table.. it's not worth the time you put into it.

My best is 33rd out of 7,753 people.. took down $30 in about 7 1/2 hours of tournament time.

It's cheap, but it takes forever to finish. Good luck playing for more than 1/3 of your day winning top prize.

All the times I played it I ended up on not so bad positions but due to the lack of time I had to quit or start going all in to finish quick.

It is only worth if you have enough time and get to the final table...

+1... its just frustrating, I usually play every once and awhile on the weekends when I dont have to be up as early, and if I cash I go out around 150th.

I played it last night and I came in 150th or some where around there. Got $5.50, which isn't bad.

I play the Daily dollar about every other day. I can usually make the money and have gotten to the better money twice. The key for me is to join just before the first hour is up. It shortens the tournament just enough for me that I don't lose my focus.

Its satty to it is top 200 and not that hard to place in just win a couple coin flips. The actual DD is a fun tourny to play aggressively because playing nitty is just gonna be a waste of your time with no ITM. Play it aggressively and good luck spending 7 hours to make it the the final table, but the prize pool is huge ROI ($1 to win hundreds, even thousands for top 3)

Takes about 5-6 hours to get to 100-200th... thats basically 1.10 an hour. Might as well be playing turbo SnGs, if you get good at them much better return over the time period spent.

I'm not saying you can't cash big in the DD (there are definitely enough donkeys,) its just tough to go deep in any tourney. Suck outs, card dead periods, fatigue from long hours... it all adds up to earlier finishes than you're happy with.

You get a sick night of cards in Daily Dollar though and you can win a lot more than in turbo SnGs :)

Yeah if you wanna play until 4 am... thats how long it takes to get to the final table, 8 hours. How long can a sick run of cards last? How likely is it that it will last 8 hours?

I got a little boned with these on Friday. I used to play once in a while and use 200FTP for the buyin, rebuys, addon. Now you have to buy thr $1 tickets that cost a little more at 250 fTP. OK. But I didn't realize the tickets can only be used for the initial buyin and not the initial rebuy up to 3000 chips and the addon. Scheisty trickery! I have been better off saving the fTP's to go towards more double deuce buyin tickets or something. Hopefully I save someone else from making the same mistake :)

I'm quoting everyone who makes similar comments.

There is nothing stopping anyone from playing in other MTT's or SNG's or (though I don't like to mix and match) some cash tables too while playing in something like daily dollar. Not all of your time needs to be invested in playing 1 tournament at a time.

I play the DD and DD rebuy quite often. It is quite fun. The rebuy has better players in it obviously because you end up spending about $3-$7 for about 2.5K. Just have to get lucky and try build a stack for the inevitable short stack shoving if you go deep.

I know chances are tiny, but you don't need them one after the one - one every once in a while will do, as long as you get action and win it ;)

And it would be 9am ish for me :p
