Few days ago the were Praha Main even freerolls 2000$ with 30.000 players. How is possible to win this tournament! Does someone be in top 100 even.. my best position in those massive frolls is around 1200/30.000. It is crazy how lucky you have to be and patient and what so ever.. at the start I have to go few times all in and triple up stack and than I start playing. I can't play normal from the start, thigh and smart. Do you have the same thing or it is just me? How do you approach to those kinds of tournament.

it's hardest at the start of the tournament, it's important to make a little bigger stack at the time, duplicate your chips and then play a little bit differently, wait for your chance and with a little luck you can continue to reach the very end of the tournament ... I'm almost on pokerstars tv freeroll ended at 54th place ... just a lot of patience and happiness :)

Once I took 684 place out of 40,000 at the PokerStars Chromemaster)) earned $ 5.40. In such tournaments 90% depends only on luck

in the initial stage of the tournament you only play premium hands when the stack will decrease to choose a situation to push

In those freeroll where 30,000 or more players are registered ... you definitely have to try to double your stack of chips as fast as possible ... you also have to keep in mind that the blinds are increasing very fast ... only so you'll have a chance to get away in tournaments of that kind.

At an early stage of such tournaments I do not expect an excellent hand. Especially if it's a freeroll. Any normal hand is suitable for all-in. I managed to double my bank - well. Then you play more carefully. If not doubled - I left the tournament and forgot about it.

Such large fields of competition require a lot of luck for sure. Seeing many flops to try and double or triple up counts as luck as well. Solid pocket pairs AA KK aren't easy to come by so the need to play low connectors and try to hit the flop for a straight or a set is my recommendation.

I agree that the idea of doubling up your chips very early in these games is important. It's the only way to survive and make it deeper into the the tourney when most of the crazy players drop off.

These tournaments are all luck the amount of unbelievable luck you need to avoid 1 mistake costing you your whole stack. They are extremely quantitative time and effort commitment. I would just avoid unless I literally have nothing better to do.
