I have to ask and I'm sure it's common.... I have massive issues with losing big hands against extreme fish donks...... Such as I'll raise preflop and hit top pair or trips.... I bet I get called..... I bet and or go all in it gets called and the runner runner hit flushes often..... It's a big issue and was wondering what's best option I can take...... Lower my initials bets after flop or check em? Insight needed!

its just case happens, the difference between new player and proffesional,
Professionals plays more tournaments in a month than new player in a year, so proffesionals will have same errors its luck errors occurs, but they dont bother about it, and continue , new players they think that they are unluckky. NO , just the number of tournaments per day per week per month that is difference, the more you play the more experience you will take.
Another point, just dont get bothered about those situations where you are unlucky its happen everyone, just need to concetrate for lucky ones, need to overcome those thoughts that you are not good, just need to continue hard work, but as well the main point is need to analyze stake size betting patterns of opponents it can tell more about his hand, and everytime need to monitor their games and habits, most often times need to fold if you are not sure you got nuts. Cauze you have no unlimit pots to check every bluff.....

its the game of poker my friend. The worst thing you can do is bet small against worse players and allow them to see their draws for a cheap price. Bet your big hands big and get called by fish with a worse hand. They aren't gonna hit running flushes forever.

^ Couldn't agree more! This game is fraught with wild swings and sometime losers win. In the end take splice in knowing that you played your best and they got extremely lucky.

Yeap happens to everyone. I assume you are reffering to freerolls or micro stakes. The range of the guys in early stages is close to... 100%. They play every combination, they also 3bet with any two! Be aware. I don't play a single hand in the early stages unless I am in position to trap such an opponent. But I will show aggression only against one.Be patient because your time to double up will come sooner or later. I said double up because most of the times the fish will continue with his crappy hands. GL sir!

You must get accustomed to these types of game, which for you is a bad streak with a fishes other know it as a variance is something that is difficult to predict but with a few good studies will minimize the risks of falling with a premiun hand vs a hand

sadly poker is not an exact science, the best hand loses more than we care to recall. variance is something none of us can control.we all get beaten by runners its sick and can be frustrating, but its something you better get used to ,because its here to stay.just move on to the next hand or tourney and try playing the best you can and just accept that there are players than cannot fold no matter how slim their chance might be of lucking out on you.good luck.

Loose calls are hard to play against. You bet and bet your good hands and continue to lose. One has to learn to analyze the board after the flop. Free-rolls and low buy-ins will get a lot of chasing and just plain silly poker. In cash games learn to open your ranges up. Play for those straights and flushes. Trips? Better have two out of three in your hand. Two pair? Check check check. Tournaments just play your big hands.

I guess this is something that happens and we have to live with , losing our best hand to the worst in the river . I try to give wrong odds to villains to call , sometimes I am gonna shove on the turn to avoid showing the river to the villan as I am satisfied with the pot and I know although the odds now for him are not good he might call a bet to see the river so a shove might prevent him to proceed . If he calls to the end and he beats me , well this happens .
