When you have a flush draw on the flop out of position against one player, do you:
1. Check, hoping for a free card
2. Call a 1/4 pot size bet (getting the right odds)
3. Fold to a 1/2 pot size bet (not getting the right odds)
4. Bet 1/4 pot size bet (hoping v just calls to get the right odds)
5. Bet 1/2 pot size bet (hoping to either take it there, or force yourself into seeing another card if he just calls, even with bad odds)
6. other?

It would depend on
stack sizes
blind structure
level
villain's playing style
board texture
game type (cash-tourney?)

In other words, there isn't enough info in the question.

Poker isn't a black and white scenario. (Thanks P.O.)

hobonc said it all...
anyways you gotta always think in winning without showing your hand, if you think agressiveness will take it down, you should try it

I would bet at it for sure, he is right to it depends on my stack vs villain if he is loose aggressive tourneys or cashes, But I usually see myself betting at the flush draw on the flop if it is heads up.

other: remember poker is highly situational, the decision you do on one hand may not be the same in a different hand due to factors that hobonc said. there's also the factor of preflop play and strength of flush draw must be taken into account.
