The starting hands 156 and the players that play them. Starting out playing is watching and waiting, the calls being played good to bad. Seeing best pre flop hand AA being busted by 64 suited, Oh they are suited. Lately in poker it doesn't matter free roll money game the respect to the game and players is gone. Let's try to bring the respect to the game and player. Find the right to play, play it well and bring down the pot. Good skills to you.

To play the Devil's advocate here...

If we are talking free rolls, and if we narrow it down to online free rolls wouldn't it almost make since to open shove with any two cards at the opening of a free roll? I mean you loose nothing and you at least double your stack if you are called by even one player if you happen to get lucky and win. If you get real lucky your stack could even double or triple depending on the situation.

Take for example what I used to do on FullTilt back when Americans could play and they had those free roll wsop and Poker After Dark satellites running literally ever 2 minutes. They were so popular that you had to have your finger on the mouse button, and you had to hyper click the moment the tournaments opened for registration if you wanted a spot in it. With these tournaments I would open shove with each and every first hand of the tournament each and every time I played regardless of what my two cards were. If it didn't work I was already less than 2 minutes away from the next tournament. If it did work I was sitting on a fairly large stack right off the bat. After the double up, sometimes triple I could just sit back and play a tight aggressive game. I could afford to wait for premium cards.

I will give you the fact that it is annoying to all hell to be in a tournament like this, but if you can't beat them then join them as the old saying goes. It does have a working strategy behind the concept, and one way to avoid this all in shove free roll tournament is to not play free rolls.

Those are just my thoughts,

You see idiot plays at every level, get used to it. There's nothing you can do. The more you beg for respect the less you will get.

I don't understand what you mean by respect for the game. The rules of the game are enforced automatically by the software when you are playing online. The game of poker does not require that you go all in only with premium hands, that might be a winning strategy, yes, but it has nothing to do with any rules or respect. Loose players are excellent for the game of poker, they bring excitement to the table and put money in the pockets of the good, tight players. When you sit at a table, you should welcome the loose players, and you should treat them with respect, even though you will suffer a bad beat from time to time because of them. These people are most of the time playing for fun, they do not care about making long term mathematically correct moves. They play infrequently, and for that type of players, the strategies based on statistics have no real value. For statistics to work, you need to play a lot of hands, hundreds and thousands, even millions. Example: you can flip a coin 10 times and get heads every single flip, but if you flip it a million times you will get very close to 50-50. Many people do not understand that all the poker strategy is based on statistics, and you need to play a lot of hands to start seeing a benefit from it. So, my message is: let's analyze our own play, try to improve it as much and we can, and look at the others with tolerance and understanding, their goals and motivation might be very different than ours. Who are we to judge others anyways?
