Hi,

I would like to ask your opinion on the following situation.

I was on the final 2 tables in this micro MTT and had AK on middle position. I had around 20 BB and 7th in chips. I've minraised and the chip leader from SB shoved with around 45BB.

I had no information on him, but, since he was the chip leader i was thinking that he was putting pressure on me and I was putting him on 99+, AJ+, Ajs+ something like this, and I of course. I called him and he showed TT and he won. I was playing to win the tournament of course

it depends, sometimes the luck is on your side, sometimes not. actually when you have pair from JJ or higher you are the potential winner, but sometimes this is not happend. I`d loose even with pair of AA or AK suit, because my opponent has pair of 5 and on turn or river there is another 5. That you have A and something bigger is not guarantee that you will win. In final table you don` need to wait. Play aggressive. What about information, i think 2-5 hands are not enough to know the opponent. you should play a lot of time with him to understand his game (this is my opinion)

here the key point micro - tournament, respectively, and micro payments, so more than faithful to the call because after losing this hand, you basically don't lose much, but doubling you can qualify for more and che as You surely have noticed You have preflop, the chances are about 50-50 because his range is small pocket pairs, either you are way ahead of us and he has only 3 outs.

This was the exact situation that happened to me on a free roll recently. AKs against TT with very similar positioning and stacks. Board comes out without a single card that matched my suit, game over. I questioned my play as well, good to know it wasn't as bad as I thought right after felting.
