personally I like practicing on the 2.50 buy in with 180 cap on stars. Its fun and quick and easy to get into the money. Also good to learn your game on those I believe.

I like to play cheap MTTs, or cheap rebuys. I don't like turbos, only standard.

From tournaments with buy-ins I'd really like Sunday Storm. I do not remember how many times played - always won back pay for the entrance, and once took place 534 and won 100 dollars. And if we talk about freerolls, it is of course $ 100K Privilege Freeroll - here I always get into Top50 no effort, no game I will love as well as 100K.

I have been playing the 1.10 games on Carbon that give 8-12 $33.00 tickets GTD, and usually have enough rebuy $$ to add more tickets or some cash awards as well!

The crazy thing is, I have not only gotten the ticket, but made a few more $$ than what I spent to get it. So far, I have only bought into each one I played once and then spent another buck to add on for 20k after the first break. Incredibly, many players easily spend $10-15.00 in rebuys each game and by the second or third day you see them you have to wonder why not just spend the $33.00? I mean, rebuy for more than you can win? It's crazy!

These multi ticket GTD games are usually 1500-3000 starting stack and 5 minute levels. If you play it right, you can end up making a huge stack; many players have incredibly obvious betting tells and this can allow you to get them all in. Once you get around 12-20k in chips you can start ripping the 3k stacks off left and right as they have to shove. By the time late entry is almost over, blinds are at 1400 or so and they STILL buy in with only 2 BB's and insta-add in for another 2bb's. At that point, they are shoving with any two cards. And they do not stop if they work up to 20-30k, still shoving weak. If you limp big hands you can catch them doing this and end up with a huge stack!

Best of all is that they have some pretty decent games for the 33.00 ticket you win! Just keep in mind (I could be wrong, they might have changed it) but you can only buy in for a ticket; as far as I know, you cannot use a ticket to re-buy into the same event. You should be able to for a re-entry, however.

One Table SnGs (10 seated) ... can better control amount of 'time' actually played rather than getting tied-up for hours on end.

Especially like the "Double or Nothings" and "Triple-ups"... Like to practice HU SnGs too.

for 90% I am freeroller :) I loved countrybased freeroll on Fulltilt, too bad for me they cancelled them... When I rarely play for money I prefer one table regular SNG, especially DoNs. When I build my bankroll on atleast 200 I will probably start play SNG more often.

Theirs some great micros on 888 poker, upto 10K Its pretty easy to final table the standard of play is almost as if it not for real money.
and you can be looking at cashing $400 upto $1,400
even though they are turbos they can be beat. and get your bankroll in order.

I enjoy large fields on pokerstars,

and playing satellites for the sunday million, and any other big games I can get myself into

I used to FT also it was devastating, so many good freerolls. Anyways i am into the omaha, and hi/lo cash games it seems like no site offer these tourneys. I prefer to play hi/lo just because of chance catching a new or semi new player on the tables.

Omaha hi-lo, Stud hi-lo, Razz.

Razz tournaments seem very easy to cash in for some reason.
