Sometimes it's hard to admit when you make stupid mistakes so here's a thread where we can fess up to our stupid mistakes and maybe others can learn from them.

The only thing I should have been thinking about here is to get the BB eliminated. I should have folded preflop. Once I called I should have then checked down to the river and folded to any bet by the CO.

OK, I tried to scare him off the pot with a show of strength when it was obvious he was calling me here on the turn, and I was using my 1 chance to the flush to justify. I should have folded to his flop raise (!) or gone all in (?), the call was simply terrible. The HH sucks for this site, and no converter recognizes it, so just as is. (Even though he played as bad as I did, it no reason to stay in the hand)

Its ^ only bad because of the type of opponent you're playing (although I think I would've played it a 'bit' differently... ie. size the flop bet a bit smaller... thinking ahead > if he does raise then if you ship you 'might' still have fold equity as you'll have close to enough behind that villain won't be priced in (if they actually had a hand that is... this guy prob calls with anything obviously).

I'll try to find a hand to post.

First Starting

Do no know if this is the proper place for this - but when I first started playing online poker I did numerous things wrong but the biggest two that I did was to play just about every hand and if I hand a king as a hold card I went nuts. By reading the various forums etc I have learned to play fewer hands and not worry about the king.

Avoiding tilt s the way to go, it makes your reasoning fuzzy and therefore you make these kind of mistakes.

I have made some of them too.

lol no idea what i was thinking here. Good example of what not to do, don't shove into the big stack w/marginal hand when you have no fold equity.
