Well maybe not a bad beat but a $%#^@ up situation.

Playing one of my $100K weekly freeroll tickets on Bovada and already doubled up by the second level. Get moved to a new table and bam I get AA on the button. Small raise from UTG and many smooth callers so I triple the bet to get rid of people and get one caller.

Flop comes all low mixed and I get checked to. So I instantly hit all in and click the button. It just sits there and all the action buttons disappeared but it counted me down on time and then said I was disconnected!!!!!!!!!!

I finally reconnect and find myself with 900 chips left at a table where 7-10K is the average. I double up right away and then play for awhile before busting out to a 2 outter after I pushed with a flush.

Thankfully it wasn't at a worse moment in time but I have never been disconnected like that before and in that situation it was agonizing. I am still trying to get the hand history to find out what happened. I am guessing it folded me if my all in didn't go through but I am dying to know lol. At least it wasn't a buy in tourney and I have a few more tickets to try again.

The ISP bad beat. Do you have a story of Murphy paying you a visit?

Finally found the hand in the history and I would have won the pot with 2 pair had it not folded me. One second sooner and my all in bet might have made it in lol. At least I know what happened now. The other guy had a pair of 5's and the board ended up pairing 3's. They should have some sort of disconnect policy where the current bet stays regardless if the player disconnects. As though they are all in small stack side pot or something. I seem to recall that feature in online poker when I played years ago. Although I also seem to recall people using that as an out to not have to call all in bets and put their tourney at risk as well and that sucked.

So yes it was the ISP that issued me the bad beat. Thankfully it wasn't at the final table for the tourney I was trying to get in to!!

I just got disconnected today too and am pretty sure it cost me a cash in a $3.30 triple up SnG

we were down to 5 players, and I was the 3rd biggest stack, and 3 will be paid. I had nearly triple the stack of the smallest stack and almost double the stack of the 4th place stack.

generally, I kill it in this situation unless I get majorly coolered....

like....being disconnected!

grrrrr

For a moment I thought I had something similar.

Mine: 8 7

Flop: J 8 7

I bet, he flats. I figured he has top pair. I have two pair and I want to maximise my value.

Turn: 9

Now I have a gutshot. I bet out again and he flats.

River: 2

Blank for me and I thought blank for him too.

I go all in, he calls. And I see he as J 2. He's not even on the button. Something similar to this has happened to me a number of times and I don't know if I'm being set up (Like Stars has my ISP and just wants to troll me) or I'm being super unlucky the past few games.

From a chip lead I'm reduced to nothing and eventually get busted out.

:(

But if this is a case of disconnection and all that uhhh... I guess I'm in the wrong place and sorry :( Coz I was just thinking if its possible for my account and cards to be rigged because of my ISP.

(I'm on a roll with bimbo questions as of late.)

So when you hit 'allin' you had 900 chips left in your stack?

Also, getting disconnected on different sites has happened to me so many times since first starting online play. I wouldn't even be able to guess how many (100's? .. maybe 1,000+ ?).

I know you can get disconnected it wasn't my first time having that issue. It was just the way the hand played out and the cards I had at that moment that made it so sick.

don't trust on your broadband/DSL ISP, you can use your cell phone's usb tethering easily and make sure that you never get disconnected more than a few seconds, OR you can you can pay for a line with 99.999% up time if you are a supernova elite :D
