Ever have your ISP give you a bad beat? I just did!!!
Well maybe not a bad beat but a $%#^@ up situation.
Playing one of my $100K weekly freeroll tickets on Bovada
and already doubled up by the second level. Get moved to a new table and bam I get AA on the button. Small raise from UTG and many smooth callers so I triple the bet to get rid of people and get one caller.
Flop comes all low mixed and I get checked to. So I instantly hit all in and click the button. It just sits there and all the action buttons disappeared but it counted me down on time and then said I was disconnected!!!!!!!!!!
I finally reconnect and find myself with 900 chips left at a table where 7-10K is the average. I double up right away and then play for awhile before busting out to a 2 outter after I pushed with a flush.
Thankfully it wasn't at a worse moment in time but I have never been disconnected like that before and in that situation it was agonizing. I am still trying to get the hand history to find out what happened. I am guessing it folded me if my all in didn't go through but I am dying to know lol. At least it wasn't a buy in tourney and I have a few more tickets to try again.
The ISP bad beat. Do you have a story of Murphy paying you a visit?
